DATASIVE  is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our data infrastructure, including designing and implementing ESB and API integrations, working with open data sources, and developing custom data pipelines using Python.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement ESB and API integrations to connect various data sources
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and related technologies
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and data needs
• Work with open data sources to integrate external data into our data ecosystem
• Optimize and maintain the performance and scalability of our data infrastructure
• Develop and maintain documentation for our data infrastructure and processes

Your experience

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 0 to 3+ years of experience in data engineering, ESB, and API integrations
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with related technologies, such as pandas, NumPy, and Flask
• Experience with open data sources and integrating external data into internal systems
• Familiarity with database systems and data warehousing concepts
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
